Meet the Team - Donna Parker

We'd like to introduce Donna, or Breezy to her friends (we'll get her to explain later) she's another Yorkshire girl so you can be sure she's well bred, knows her stuff and is generally brilliant! What else do you expect?

Here are a few important bits of information about our newest wedding gal!

Born and bred in Barnsley, I am one of a family of six (four brothers, 1 sister).

I went to Leeds University (Bretton Hall) as a full time 'mature' student and gained a 2:1 Honours Degree in English and Related Studies (Film, Photography, Documentary, Literary Studies).

On graduating I decided to take six months out from pursuing a course in teacher training and followed a desire to see more of the world.

I started as an Administrator for Airtours Holidays in Turkey and was promoted to Office Manager within two years, I then continued to work with the same Company for a further 10 years.

As well as managing a team of administrators, my job involved; contracting holiday accommodation, management and utilisation of bed-stock, monitoring and recording health and safety in all venues and accommodation, supplier quality control, supplier payments, overseeing in resort weddings, customer service and supplier relations.

I have worked primarily in Turkey but have also worked in the following countries;

• Austria
• Cyprus
• Morocco
• USA
• Gambia
• Goa

I have travelled quite extensively, taking in much of the Caribbean. Thailand, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Langkawi, Canada... as well as much of Europe.

I met my husband whilst working overseas and married in Turkey (on a gulet boat at sunset) in 2004.

I have two children Ela, 6 and Hari 2.

I returned to live in the UK in 2009.

Hobbies (haha ...if I can remember pre-kids!) Travel, Cooking, Reading.
