Meet the Team - Jo Ogburn

Our Travel Genious is Jo Ogburn. She's a Widnes gal, so don't mess with her (ha ha) reading her work history is like reading a travel enclopedia, she looks lovely in blue and she'll wow you with her knowledge, infact after you speak to Jo you'll wonder how you ever managed without her!

Here are a few important interesting facts about our travelling Jo!

Jo (Joanne) Ogburn was born in Widnes, year undisclosed!

Like Donna she's 1 of 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls and being the 2nd youngest always had to be loud and confident to be heard. (this is why she's so good in travel!)

Started at Haven Holiday Park at 17 and was dazzled by the blue coats and new immediately this was what she wanted. So she left home very nervous but excited, donned her new blue coat and had a fantastic 5 years working in 7 different camps around the UK.

Once she had the travel bug there was nothing stopping her, so she applied for a job as a children's rep for Airtours Holidays. She spent the following 2 years as a children's rep in Djerba and Rhodes before getting itchy feet! She became a holiday representative and worked all over the Meditteranean, Menorca, Majorca, Paphos in Cyprus, Altinkum, Marmaris and Bodrum Turkey, Tunisia, Costa Brava, Gran Canaria.

She spent 2 years as a supervisor in Kos, Zante in Greece, Tenerife and Protaras in Cyprus.

Followed by 7 years as a manger in Corfu and Malta.

Deciding to set roots she returned to the UK, she worked for First Choice and an Independent travel agent before meeting our head wedding planner Lisa and setting up Overseas Experience Ltd.

When she has time (which isn't much) she likes to do anything travel related, including travelling, watching travel programmes, reading travel books and planning other peoples travel. Of course she makes time for family and friends.
