Meet the Team - Matt Burton

Matt Burton is responsible for all the tech stuff including designing and making the website.

But how did he get here?

"After 3 years hard labour in casinos in Sheffield and Derby, I set off to sunnier climes working in casinos on Cruise Lines.

I worked on Carnival, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line mainly in the Caribbean and up the East Coast of America into Canada to Quebec.

Some of the highlights?

Pizza in St Thomas, ESAF rum in Barbados, Indian food in St Martin, wreck diving in Barbados, Dark and Stormy's in Bermuda, garlic prawns in Venezuela, Aruba Beaches, rocket launch at Cape Kennedy, wearing summer clothes in quebec winter, getting to the top of the twin towers, seeing Aerosmith at Virginia Beach ... I could go on for ages, there are just too many!

After meeting Lisa at a friend's house warming party in Barbados, we came home for the Millennium and I retrained in IT (MCSE if anyone's interested ;) and spent the next few years helping Lisa set up The Bridal Consultant.

In May 2009 I left full time employment to look after our daughter Olympia (to all the other parents out there – left full time employment!) and work on the website and anything else that comes up."

Matt is also a Director of Overseas Experience.
